OCEAN SURFSKI

The full range of surfski we have designed for Australian OceanSurfSki company is the results of many years of research and tests, all oriented towards the development of these very interesting “all seas” sit-on-top bullets, born to race on the high seas. For OceanSurfSki we have developed four different hull typologies, starting with the beginner stable surfski OSS4, followed by an intermediate fast model, the OSS3 and arriving at the two top-of-the-range racing OSS1 and 2, created for the world’s best athletes, both men and women. While many people still argue that speed and stability are contradicting, the OSS Surfski series proves differently. The new hull shape has a reduced wave and friction resistance associated with an incredible stability offering the paddler the opportunity to use all his power to perform in any sea conditions, this in line with the concept that “power is nothing without control”. Reverse bows are also once again a characteristic of our surfski projects. In this particular case we have optimized these bows for rougher waters. The result is the “cutting edge” hybrid bow which combines the advantages of both bow designs, the traditional and reverse bow, whilst minimizing any negative effects.
