Once again the name of a sail, the Windseeker, connects sailboats and ocean surf ski.
The Windseeker, a sail that is used to “search” for the wind, combines very well with Surfski, an object that was created to navigate in the waves and in the wind. The Windseeker is a development of the Code Zero with which we have definitively stated the concepts of form stability and of the wave piercing bow. We arrived to this project thanks to the passion of some friends, enthusiastic paddlers, who believed in the rightness of these innovations, and that gave me the “incipit” to attempt this new challenge. The link between the Windseeker hull and that of a racing catamaran is evident and the results, the impressions of the strongest athletes who have tested it, including Daniele Scarpa, Olympic gold in Savannah, demonstrate the honesty of these lines and these concepts. It has given me great satisfaction to have been able to envisage and create a surfski that can satisfy a beginner with its stability and its confidence, and an Olympic champion, who can find its speed and its reactions in the waves both unexpected and optimal.
