The Dufour 470, heir to its predecessor D460, reflects the DNA of the yard but with a new tension towards modernity.
The new hull lines and the fluidity of the deck architecture make this sailing boat an authentic icon that, for its modernity, simplicity and elegance, has already become a new «classic».
The family feeling is strong but equally strong are the choices that “breaks” with the past.

The aggressive inverted bow and the topside chine at the sheer line, are some of the key elements that characterize the new aesthetic.
The new bow sections are the result of the continuous search for the best relationship between internal volumes and performances. But we don’t like to talk about compromise
When it comes to a Felci hull you must always think of an optimized hull shape, designed without compromises that undermine the functionality of sailboat, so, again, we tried to find a way to balance all the elements and mix them to the best.
The Dufour 470 comes with three different deck layouts.
This is possible thanks to a flexibility long studied during the design phase that allows you to have the winch dedicated to the halyards both on the roof (solution most appreciated by the competitors) and close to the helmsman.
These are the two main possibilities to differentiate the deck equipment of the “ocean” version and the “performance” version.
As for the “easy” version, let’s say “charter”, everything is focused on simplicity.
Fantastic the functionality of the layout of Dodger and bimini.
We used the same concept tested on D530 and D61 to propose a real new way of living and moving on deck.
Thanks to the step near the dashboard and the arrangement of the bimini, there is the possibility to move from the cockpit along the sidewalks in total freedom.
