With this project we have tried to transfer our great experience of fast cruiser yachts into the world of catamarans.
A fast navigation, in great comfort and safety, inside a unique and beautiful object, studied in every detail, simple and complete at the same time.
Above all, the Felci 63 Catamaran is a means of efficient sailing. This term encompasses both the necessary dose of speed and the equally necessary dose of safety.
Throughout the design phase, we searched for extreme balance. A balance based on knowledge of the elements we are going to use, which are many and varied, and which also require different skills.
Displacement is very important. For a catamaran it is a determining factor both for its speed, but also and above all for its safety, and this guides many choices.
So it will be built rigidly, robustly but lightly (essentially in carbon sandwich, with structural parts in high-modulus carbon).
The daggerboard will be telescopic with profiles designed to favour lift, in a way that is functional to performance.
We devoted a very important chapter to the interiors. The study of living spaces began with the creation of two large stairs that invite you to climb aboard in comfort.
The cockpit is a real living area with a large dining table. The idea is to be able to live in contact with the sea as much as possible in an open space, that is at the same time cosy and protected. A sliding door that opens completely leads to the lounge area, furnished with a large, elegant L-shaped sofa.
The effect is that of living in continuity between indoor and outdoor space.
Behind the sofa, moving towards the bow, is the kitchen, whose furnishing choices allow it to harmonise perfectly with the part dedicated to the control panel, which is on the same level. All this is surrounded by a large window providing plenty of light and a spectacular view of the sea.
The cabins are spacious, refined, cosy and designed down to the last detail.
They have a bathroom, a study and the wardrobes.
Not to be forgotten, again in terms of comfort, is the lateral access to the Fly, with important steps that allow an easy ascent to the upper floor, where the two large carbon wheels and a sunbathing area facing the bow, stand out.
