Following the STP65 Box Rule dictates we have developed this project in close collaboration with the best professionals in the world.
We have carried out an extensive CFD research using special tools available only in America’s Cup area and we’ve evaluated a wide range of candidates hulls making a real typological analysis.
The results of the research, analyzed in the light of prevailing Mediterranean regattas weather conditions led to the definition of this extremely versatile hull.
The integrated structural design and the choice of production pioneering technologies allows to obtain a displacement in “measuremt trim” of 13 t , with over than 50% of the weight concentrated in the ballast, an extreme retractable keel which arrives to a draft of 4, 8 meters.
The study of the sail plan and its different configurations involved here also the best professionals in the industry.
Many of the details that we have developed are at the forefront.
In addition to the extreme lifting keel, we have developed a retractable propeller shaft, a carbon high modulus mast, booms and bowsprit, and a deck gear so efficient to manage the very high load caused from the large sail area associated with significant righting moment.
