The Co-Living project, strongly desired by the CreditAccess India NV team, has fascinated and involved us since the beginning.
The idea of creating a synergistic environment for a new start, dedicated to young students and workers of the populous Indian urban centres, gave us the opportunity to try to imagine a post-pandemic future in which it will still be possible, or rather vital, to return to live together, in a social and cultural exchange, necessary to raise their knowledge, expectations and visions of a future life.
The Co-Living centre, realized with mobility and flexibility needs using as a basic element the 40′ container, can be adapted to different needs and different modularity.
From the technical point of view, it was born on the basis of the experiences, above all northern European ones, but it has been developed looking for new internal functionalities linked above all to its positioning and its relationship with the territory.
A common living space, almost a self-sufficient “bubble” to promote exchanges, contacts and a possible greater dignity in the relationship with the working reality of these megacities.
Externally, it is characterized by a shell, designed by the contemporary artist Silva Cavalli, that fulfils both the formal aspect of catalyst, and the functional aspect of a screen for solar radiation in order to collaborate in a research of optimization of the internal climate.
